Darlene Magnolia Ricasa Antonino-Custodio

   

indentA graduate of OB Montessori, Manila in elementary and high school. Darlene finished her Bachelor of Science in Management form De La Salle University in 1996. Her taking up Masters in Culinary Arts in the world famous Cordon Bleu, in London, England is not a surprise as cooking is her favorite pastime. In fact, she counts as her first work experience her being a consultant to EC Food Corporation from June 1998 to January 1999.    
        As a businesswoman, she is the project Manager of Wemilco Development Corporation from 1998 to present.  
         Having been born to a family of politician, Representative Darlene Antonino-Custodio, had been exposed early in life to the rigors and intricacies of politics.
         She served as Executive Assistant to her mother, then Congresswomen Luwalhati Ricasa-Antonino. It was then that she gained knowledge of the working of Congress as a legislative Government. She familiarized herself with the different programs and projects to uplift the life of the people of General Santos City.
         When her mother's term expired, Darlene ran as Representative of the First District of South Cotabato and General Santos. At a very young age of 27, contrary to the cynical speculations, she won with the biggest margin in almost all of General Santos City and the municipalities of Tampa Polomolok - First District of South Cotabato.
         Darlene is married to Benjamin B. Custodio of of Quezon City. They have 2-year old son, Aaron Vincent (Avie).

Antonino in simple rites infront of the City Hall Building last 28 June 2007. Behind her is AIM partymate and Mayor re-elect Pedro B. Acharon Jr. Custodio emerged unscathed in a hotly-contested fight for the congress against World Boxing Champ Manny Pacquiao leading him by more than 37,000 votes
