Under Operation Brotherhood, the Sta. Ana campus of O.B. Montessori Center has been serving as a secondary logistics hub of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA). Ever since Typhoon Odette/Rai made landfall on the Visayas and Mindanao islands last December 16, 2021, relief packages donated by various Coast Guard Auxiliary Squadrons and civic-minded sectors have been pouring in over the Christmas holidays. These packages are loaded onto available air or sea vessels for distribution to calamity-stricken areas to ensure that the spirit of Bayanihan and the compassion of Christmas reaches the families and communities now struggling to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of Typhoon Odette.
On New Year’s Day, two PCG boom trucks rolled out of OBMC–Sta. Ana carrying one million pesos worth of relief packages bound for Surigao and Siargao.
